Social media tools are often looked upon as simply being for social–and often seemingly meaningless–interaction. But some instructors are finding ways to use these tools to engage students in STEM-related educational activities. Could you adopt or adapt some of their practices to fit your own classroom needs?

Social media is part of the fabric of students’ lives these days. Findings ways to engage them through their go-to places to play can help boost engagement, learning and educational outcomes. The examples here may be right for some of your courses, or may prompt some new ideas of your own.
