Is kindergarten too early to begin thinking about college? This school district doesn’t think so. Should you be inserting college preparatory thinking into your curriculum?

In a perfect world, all educational activities would be strategically aligned from pre-school throughout a child’s school years. But, not all students will ultimately pursue a higher education degree, nor should they. A combination of both college and career prep, though, as this school system has found can help children remain alert to topics and trends that spark their interest, help identify future career opportunities, and boost learning outcomes. Applied learning has a place in helping to make these early connections.
