Better Outcomes Through Virtual Learning

Are virtual schools working? Not really, not yet, at least according to this study. Still adoption is on the rise. What takeaways from this study could help to boost the efficacy of virtual learning?

Just as in traditional classroom settings, the ratio of students to teachers has an impact on learning outcomes this study suggests. Even in an online environment, teachers can’t be spread too thin among too many students. As the study shows, smaller virtual schools tend to show better outcomes. One key consideration in these virtual settings is ensuring options for interaction and communication.
